Each Laura Elizabeth jewelry is named after a woman who has inspired me. This particular piece was named after my brother, who lived in Varanasi, India. His friends there nicknamed him, Daya, which (loosely) translates to "compassionate one." Drew, my brother is a very gentle soul. He embodies tranquility and authenticity. I named this necklace after him, because he inspires me. Drew translated the words, "love" and "freedom" into Sanskrit (the oldest language).
