At Yoga Democracy, yoga isn’t simply physical movement.
Yoga is meditation and mental health. Yoga is flowing through life. Yoga is holding space, for others and ourselves. Yoga is harmony between the outer world, and the inner world. At the end of the day, YD creates clothing to support every aspect of yoga, and those that practice it.
From Plastic to Pants
It starts with the fabric. Yoga Democracy's materials are made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets. They use a no-water dyeing process that cuts down on waste. And, they take every scrap of material that passes through their shop and turn it into something of use and beauty.
Made in the US
YD prides themselves on supporting their local community and economy through their dedication to manufacturing in the US. Their co-founder, lead seamstress, and creative captain, Haley Byfield personally begins the sewing process on every single product produced.
Giving Back
Yoga Democracy was founded with the desire to give back. To create higher quality, longer-lasting products for the yogis (and potential yogis) around the world, but also to create a thriving, inclusive community. Building community includes being a member of 1% For the Planet and donating a portion of proceeds to organizations that better the world, alongside hosting in-person and digital events that their customers can access at any time.

Unless indicated as a final sale item, all customers are eligible for a 30-day return/exchange period from the date of receipt of your item.
