Our serums are made with a hydrosol base, which is a natural distillation that captures the essence and properties of whole plant and mineral ingredients. These essence distillations are made using fresh, organic botanicals from the Tierra & Lava garden. To complement the unique blend of ingredients, these are then fortified with botanical oil infusions, essential oils, absolutes and a touch of specific plant oils. This intricate process takes several weeks to complete, and that is not accounting for the process of growing and harvesting our special ingredients from seedling to maturation. We pay special attention to every part of the process to ensure the utmost level of care for your skin.
Horsetail, which is high in silica, tightens, firms and reduces appearance of lines. It tones the skin, improves skin texture and is an important element for building collagen. Rose Geranium works in synergy with horsetail, preventing the breakdown of collagen and helping skin elasticity. Rose stimulates the skin while working as an emollient to retain moisture and balances skin ph. Geranium leaves and essential oil promote cell regeneration.
Hibiscus flower, otherwise known as the 'botox plant' calms skin and smoothes out wrinkles while improving elasticity. With its high content of mucilage, it also moistures and leaves skin supple and soft.
Parsley, cardamom, black raspberry leaf, and grapefruit seed extract are all high in vitamin C and help to bring your natural radiance to the surface. Cardamom provides powerful antioxidants. Black raspberry and plantain leaf are high in calcium which gives a potent, youth-enhancing boost to the skin. Plantain leaf is rich in beta carotene (precursor to retinol vitamin A) and ascorbic acid. Rosemary has powerful antioxidant properties and bioflavonoids and helps restore elasticity, giving new life to previously dull skin. Grapefruit seed extract is a natural preservative and packed with vitamin E.
Fresh turmeric reduces oil secretion by the sebaceous glands and is a great addition for sensitive skin. Cocoa Butter is packed with vitamin E for skin health and elasticity as well. Vanilla Absolute soothes irritated skin and the vitamin B complex gives your skin a healthy glow. Myrrh Essential Oil prevents premature aging and strengthens the protective barrier of the skin.

Pump a a pea-sized amount onto clean fingertips. Gently dot fingertip on cleansed skin and massage serum lightly to cover skin. Allow the formula to absorb then apply your moisturizer regularly.
