Immunocologie founder Karen Ballou has always lived her life compassionately. After surviving cancer and realizing her vision for a clean, conscious skincare brand that embodies whole-body health, she built the brand with the same compassion she embodies in her everyday life.
Karen discovered the power of French Green Clay during her cancer treatments. The ethnobotanist that introduced her to the ingredient is the same person who sources ingredients for the brand today. A longtime friend, Vincent Bourgeteau has dedicated his life to working in economically and politically challenged regions of the world. Through unique relationships cultivated over the years, he has been able to establish mutually beneficial partnerships to create business opportunities in these communities.
Immunocologie is different from other skin care products because of their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and utilizing their very own Vital Oligo Science. This is where the science of healthy skin meets the power of french green clay. Vital Oligo Science is the study of minerals that are vital to our bodies and how they are effectively absorbed by skin. Their patented delivery system works on the premise of the ion exchange through which clay's ions and minerals interact with an environment, optimizing how their formulas are absorbed and utilized by the skin. In Burkina Faso, for example, where some of Immunocologie’s primary ingredients are sourced, 150 tons of fruit are harvested every 18 months. This is offset by replanting the same amount between harvests through agro-ecology, which respects natural ecosystems and integrates the economic, social, and political dimensions of human life. Water and natural resources are managed and co-owned by the local communities.
Each ingredient is sourced in accordance with the Fair-Trade Act and the Nagoya Protocol, an international framework that sets some of the highest standards for sustainable and socially equitable business practices.
Scholarships, grants, school supplies, and higher education opportunities are provided to the families of our farmers, most of whom are women. When the program was initiated, just six students were enrolled in local schools. Now, more than 2,000 students have been enrolled in education.

Returns
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the unused portion to us for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt of product. All Ear Seed sales are final once opened.

Damaged Items
