Why it works - the clay is rich is calcite, iron and other minerals and has a low PH which is unusual for a clay - often clay masks recommend combining with apple cider vinegar or other low PH product in order to lower the PH. The lower PH is important because the higher (more alkaline) the PH of the skin, the more possibility there is of body-odor producing bacteria. The yin to the clay’s yang is the volcanic sulfur, hand collected from the active volcanoes in Guatemala. Sulphur works to dry out problem areas while exfoliating and shedding dead skin cells to make way for newer healthy skin, which kills bacteria and prevents it from spreading.

Instructions: Mix the contents of the sachet with a little water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the armpits and let it dry for 10-15min. Rinse in the shower.

Chamomile has been used for centuries in cultures from ancient Egypt to the Mesoamerica. Frequently used as a tea to calm stomachs, it is used in Mayan healing bath rituals, amongst other flowers and herbs, to cleanse unwanted energy or feelings.

Amongst the ancient Maya, Neem leaves were known to treat a host of diseases, such as cholesterol and hypertension. Its antibacterial qualities help rid the body of toxins and impurities. Neem was also used as a natural insect repellant because many insects will not feed on the leaves (sometimes called ‘Amargita’ or Bitter due to its smell).

Cacao was termed the ‘Food of the Gods’ by the ancient Maya and was even used as a form of currency. Roasted and fermented Cacao beans were prepared with spices and hot chili pepper as a special drink. Our Cacao comes from an organic farm in the Izabal region of Guatemala on the Pacific Coast where Cacao was first cultivated.

cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, theobroma cacao (cocoa butter) seedbutter, cera alba (beeswax), zinc oxide, magnesium sulfate, corn starch powder nf, maranta arundinacea (arrowroot) root powder, ricinus communis (castor) seedoil, copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, lactobacillus ferment, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower oil, citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, tocopherol,melia azadirachta (neem) seed oil .

HOW TO USE

Warm a small amount between your fingers then massage into the skin of your armpits. It may feel a tiny bit sticky for the first couple of minutes (because of the beeswax), but this passes as it is absorbed. Re-apply as necessary.
