How to Use Pure Food DIGEST

  • We recommend taking 1 DIGEST capsule twice daily, with your two largest meals.
  • It's common to experience some gas, bloating, or an increase in the frequency you need to go to the bathroom during the first couple weeks of introducing new probiotics and digestive enzymes.

How to Use Pure Food Protein Powders

  • We recommend 3-4 ounces of liquid (water, milk, or plant milk work best) per scoop.
  • Use a blender for best results. Since we don't add gums or fillers, blending will help get rid of any clumps.
  • If you're new to plant-based protein powders and/or probiotics, start with one scoop (10 grams) and work your way up from there. This gives your gut time to acclimate.
  • Before, during, or after a workout are all good times for consuming a protein shake. You can also replace your breakfast or lunch or mix up a healthy snack using some of the recipes below!
  • Pure Food will help you experience noticeable improvements in your health if you give it time to work. Give it at least 14 days to allow the probiotics time to colonize in your gut.

Here are some of our favorite smoothie recipes using both Pure Food Cacao Protein and REAL MEAL:

Easy Chocolate Banana Smoothie

  • 1 scoop Pure Food Cacao Protein Powder or REAL MEAL
  • 1 banana
  • Water (or milk) and ice to taste

Chocolate Chia Berry Blast

  • 1 scoop Pure Food Cacao Protein Powder or REAL MEAL
  • 1/2 cup berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, etc.)
  • 1 T chia seeds (flax, hemp, or pumpkin work too)
  • Water (or milk) and ice to taste

Chocolate Fat Burning Smoothie

  • 1 scoop Pure Food Cacao Protein Powder or REAL MEAL
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 T coconut oil
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • Water (or milk) and ice to taste

Meal Replacement Shake

  • 2 scoops Pure Food Cacao Protein Powder or REAL MEAL
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 T seeds (chia, flax, hemp, etc.)
  • 2 T peanut or almond butter
  • 1 T coconut oil
  • Water (or milk) and ice to taste

Grain Free Vegan Protein Balls

  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/3 cup flax meal
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 T chia seeds
  • 4 dates
  • 3 scoops Pure Food Cacao Protein Powder or REAL MEAL
  • 1 T coconut oil (or other oil for greasing your pan)
  • How to Make Them: Add the walnuts and pistachios to a food processor and pulse until the nuts reach a fine “meal” consistency. Remove the seeds from the dates and add to the food processor. Pulse until they’re fully chopped. Add the remaining ingredients, plus 1-2 T of water. Once all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and the mix feels slightly wet, grease your pan and start rolling into balls. Refrigerate or freeze for at least 1-2 hours before serving. These will last for 7-10 days if you keep them refrigerated.

Protein Pudding

  • 1.5 cups unsweetened oat or almond milk
  • 1.5 cups cashews (soaked overnight)
  • 1/8 cup peanut butter
  • 4 scoops of Pure Food Cacao Protein Powder with Probiotics (note: you can also try 3 scoops of Pure Food Cacao REAL MEAL Meal Replacement Powder).
  • Optional: add a banana, 1-2 T sweetener like honey or maple syrup, or a tiny bit of monkfruit or stevia if you prefer it a bit sweeter.
  • How to Make It: Cover and soak the cashews overnight. Drain the water once done. Add the rest of your dry ingredients to a food processor or high powered blender and pulse. Slowly add the oat milk a little bit at a time until you get the consistency you’re looking for. Scoop the pudding into a bowl. Cover and chill overnight. This protein pudding will last in the fridge for 3-4 days.
